Young Leaders Programmes
As our society is unsustainable this means our leadership has become unsustainable. Many of our leaders are employing ‘Old Leadership’, associated with the conventional stages of adult development, and are not ‘in over their heads’. To be sustainable in today’s VUCA world we ne leaders to employ ‘New Leadership’, associated with the post-conventional stages of adult development.
What about young leaders? Are they destined for follow in the footsteps of their forebears and become unstainable leaders? For our society to become sustainable we need to give young leaders a new path to follow.
We are currently collaborating with young people, education providers and youth workers to map out a new path for the development of young leaders. It is a path that will lead young leaders away from the narcissism of old leadership. It will prioritise internal values over competition, self-compassion over external validation, and creativity over replication.
The new path for young leaders will then inform the design and delivery of a range of leadership development programmes for people between the ages of 14 to 21.
If you would like to collaborate in creating a new path for young leaders, please email Gary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
